Crepes with a side order of Rasta Mugging

THE EIFFEL TOWER
About an hour later, I arrived. The amazing Eiffel Tower. I think I like it better from afar. It was really strange when I was there because it was almost deserted! This may have been because of the little cold snap that had happened. The sad part was, that the only other people there were couples. They were walking around, holding hands, making out. I stood there by myself. Yeah, shed a tear for me. Poor me. Poor me. After about 10 minutes standing under the Eiffel Tower, its pizazz wore off and I walked away from it through the park to try and find somewhere to eat. I found this nice little cafe about a block away from the tower. I ordered a ham and cheese crepe and a glass of Bordeaux. It was a very nice little dinner by myself and was another one of those self-reflection times, where I go.... what the heck am i doing right now...Im in Paris!!!???
THE RIVER CRUISE
I walked about an hour to Pont Neuf where we were going on a river tour with almost all 175 ISC students. The river tour def. wasnt ready for them. Most of the students came already quite intoxicated to the cruise and took over the boat. There was a tour guide trying to point out interesting landmarks along the way, but certainly none of it was heard by anyone. I felt pretty bad for the 7 or 8 people on the boat that were not from the ISC. The tour guide got really mad at everyone and called them names. It was fairly inappropriate.
THE MUGGING
After the river cruise, a few of walked a few blocks to a little pub to chill out before returning to the Hotel. While walking to thie pub I was approached by a certain pair of Rastafarians. They asked me where I was from repeatedly, obviously not in a right state of mind. At the time I was carrying a bottle of French wine I had purchased earlier. One of the guys proceeded to grab onto the neck of the bottle i was holding and with a big heave ripped it out of my hand and ran away fown the street. I was in such shock about the whole situation! I certainly wasn't going to do anything about it! If these guys need a 5 Euro bottle of wine this badly, they can have it! Needless, to say an interesting evening. So, I got mugged on the streets of Paris. yehah. Posted by Hello
