PARIS. Day Deux.

La Gare St.Lazare
This morning I woke up and had an awful breakfast of stale bread and coffee at the Hotel's supposed continental breakfast. I decided I wanted to spend the morning doing some more solo traveling so I hopped on the Metro and rode it all the way to La Gare St.Lazare. I really wanted to see the main hall in the St.Lazare, but it is an absolute maze of tunnels in that station and I kept getting lost. Thus, I never saw it.
The Opera House
I made my way towards the Paris Opera House. This is a sight not to be missed. Like most attractions in Paris, it is oversized and overly extravagant. It is free to wander around in the lobby so that is what I did. I peeked in many of the boxes lined up around the theatre and tried to sneak into them but to no avail. The most inpressive room was the front-upper lobby (as seen above). It was sooo...well, shiny and gold. it almost hurt my eyes. So if you are in Paris... go here. Posted by Hello
