There was a tiny little museum at Santuary Wood that was run by a family that owned the land and had upheld the site. It is one of the only WW1 sites that still has intact trenches, not destroyed during WW2. It was incredible walking through the trenches in the mud and snow and attempting to imagine what it must have been like for soldiers here.
