My second trip to the Albery Theatre brought me to Macbeth. I was extremely excited about seeing it as I really like Macbeth as a play. Unfortunately, I wasn'y overly impressed with the production. I found it to be very un-original and overly traditional. I think my criticalness may have a lot to do with my drama experiences at Queen's where i was always encouraged to give productions a creative, new, artistic spin. I enjoyed the Queen's Production of Macbeth a couple years ago more than this one. Just the same, it was good to see more proffesional shakespeare.
