Greyfriar's Bobby. The Dog with Dedication.


Here is an interesting tale. Way, way back there was a guy who owned a little dog named Bobby (see above). The owner and Bobby had a fantastic relationship. They would spend all their time to gether and frollick in the fields together. One day the owner dropped dead and was buried in a nearby cemetary in Greyfriar. After the owner was buried, little Bobby stayed by the grave day and night with absolute dedication to his master. He never left the grave until 14 years later when he died himself. This is a sign of true dedication and commitment to one's master. It is also somewhat sad. Either way, I liked teh statue. Posted by Hello
